How To Get A Rental Home In The Villages Florida in 2024   Hi. Ira Miller here with Homes Around The Villages YouTube channel. Today, I'd like to talk to you about rentals in The Villages. If you'd like to watch the video version of this article you can view it just below.     We are getting a lot of calls, text messages, emails about finding a rental in The Villages. Well, we're past December, and you're pretty much late to the game if you're looking for a rental in The Villages.   However, there are opportunity that you can find possibly a home to rent, because we continue to have people buy homes as investment homes and are putting them on the on the rental market. So this is how we can help you possibly find a home now, here in The Villages.     All right. Number one, through the MLS, that's where we come in. We can go ahead and we can set you up on our MLS with what's called an auto email. So, we can take your information, put it in our MLS, and any time a new home hits the market, you will get an email telling you, "Hey, here's a new rental listing that just hit the market through the MLS." Now, Realtor.com. Zillow, Trulia, Homes.com,  all those online websites... they pull from our MLS. So you're going right to the source if you give us a call and set you up on an auto email to find a rental home here in The Villages.   So let us know if we can help you. And you can pretty much jump on that home. And I'm going to emphasize on that. You want to jump on anything that gets sent to you that hits the market because there's so many people out there looking for rentals.   Now a couple other sources you might want to try and use are: VRBO (Vacation Rental Buy Owner), or you can go to villagershomes4rent.com, another place where you'll find rentals that are by owners. Okay, so one last place you might want to try is calling The Village's sales office. Their telephone number is (352) 753-2270. You could ask them to put you through to their property management office and see if they possibly might have a rental that you can rent.   Okay, so this is as much information as I can possibly give you. I know if you go online and you type in rentals in the villages, you're going to get a whole list of stuff. But in reality, those are the only four ways that you're going to be able really to find a home for rent here in The Villages, especially at this late stage of the game.

Today, we're going to talk about homes in the villages under $250,000. If you'd rather watch the video version of this article you can view it right below.     So the reality of all that is... if you're looking for a home in the villages under $250,000, I have a screenshot here of an MLS search for homes under $250k in The Villages. You can see the results. MLS Screenshot of home listings under 250k     16 of those are manufactured homes. One of them is a one bedroom, one bath patio villa. So that's pretty much what you can expect if you're looking for homes under $250,000 here in The Villages. Now, the caveat to that is The Villages is the most expensive place to buy a home, obviously. So if you're in that price range and you absolutely want to be in The Villages, you're going to have to consider owning a manufactured home.   My suggestion, if you don't have to be in The Villages, is to look outside The Villages because every other community outside The Villages is going to be more home for less money.
